New gun Friday

Ok so it is an airgun this time. No jokes, it is good back to basics fun. I want to sharpen the skills over the winter. The gun is a used Daisy 853 .177 cal from CMP. For $100, it is a great value. Obviously I do not have female supervision and set up an Olympic 10m airgun range in the living room. I forgot how much fun airguns are. From a rest it is in the X ring all day long.

The only thing I will point out is that an air gun can kill. Be very careful.

Any "gun" is a good gun. Practice is practice. If you mess up trigger control, you still miss.

Are you a wimp who doesn't go out in the cold to shoot a powder driven gun?

I appreciate your points. Safety is paramount. As it stands, I live by myself, wear eye protection, and beyond the trap (rated for .22lr) is brick and earth.

Wimp? Maybe. When there is snow on the ground, I am going to be in my shorts, by the fire, shoot'in guns.
