DD, have you considered one of the Para Ord LDA's?

I have a Carry and love the thing. The Double action trigger is the nicest I've ever shot and the 3" barrel and slightly shortened handle can be hidden under an oxford without trouble/too much printing in a Comp Tec....that way you don't need to carry cocked and locked.

No, I've kind of backed away from the idea. I've been carrying my G23 with a new Comp-Tac Infidel IWB holster (with Gurkha Strut and belt clip), and it is so comfortable and secure that I don't feel the need for a slimmer gun anymore. I plan to pick up a Ruger LCP for those times when I need a more concealable handgun, but for my usual carry I'm going to stick with the G23.

OK, still don't have an adequate camera but here's a quick pic of my new Kimber Eclipse Cutom II. I'll try to post a better (i.e. in-focus) photo or two next week. Had her for about 3 weeks and still haven't gotten her to the range yet.

Will you come on and take it to the range already. I wanna hear how she shoots! If she shoots as good as she looks, it's gonna be a one hole wonder.:)

Cool. It's good to know we have some Kimber representation on this board. With the defection of DD over to the Springfield camp, the balance of power appeared to be slipping from our grasp! Perhaps a Springfield vs Kimber shoot-off in in our future... :innocent0

Haha, no doubt Kimber is a great gun, I could see myself getting one of their 1911s. I bought my Springfield from one of those dealer promo GBs on THR (Correa's shop). I just couldnt say no to a brand new Springfield for $730 (w/ shipping and transfer)!
