I didn't say united actually practices such things. I said it would be unfair for the potential buyer and seller if such things went down with consignment guns.

Imagine having cash in hand for a gun you saw posted here but a ghost with no deposit who called over the phone reserved it over the weekend and you cant buy it.

Anyone who grasps business practices knows this isn't the best when dealing with someone elses guns. Thats why I said they can do it all day with their inventory.

Well a day after they responded to my email saying they'd try and hold it for me they let me know that they sold it. I understand their responsibility to do what's best for the consignor, but I'm a little disappointed they didn't actually try to hold it like they told me they would. I told them Thursday evening at the latest!

I'd go as far to say most MDS members are serious about purchasing when they say they will. But we're clumped together with the general population who flake and I feel at the end of the day it's who has cash and is standing in front of the gun for united.

You'll stand out if they know you I'm sure and are a regular there. Possibly set it aside

Sorry you weren't able to buy that gun, by chance which one was it? if it's regulated maybe you have a chance of them being denied lol.

It's okay, it happens! It was the MPX pistol for $950. Screaming deal and I knew it wouldn't last long

Not sure how to be identified as a regular.

From Jan 2022 to April 2023 I bought four guns from their shelves, and three transfers. New mgmt came in, and I'm a nobody.

Do they have so much business that they don't even bother anymore to post any pictures themselves? Either way, thanks to the forum members that do so.

I think it was one guy who worked there decided to post those pictures and he's not there any more.

Here’s some updated pictures. Unfortunately there were other customers around and I wasn’t able to get everything.
