I don’t want or need somebody in my house that I don’t know with a gun on them.
If they don’t like it they go somewhere else and work.
Now that I think about it, I don’t want anybody in or around my house that I don’t know or for whom I’m not familiar with anyhow.
I don’t fall into the train of thought either, well they are law abiding have a permit yada yada.
    Permit issued by who?
BFD. The same people who gave you SB1?which coincidentally hPpens to be the same authority that wants to tell a person who can do what and where with a firearm.
Since when does having a permit or good conceal method prohibit someone from being a dumbass with some iron in my house?
    Yeah right.
I’ll be giving the permits at my place thank you very much.
Others may want to pull some role reversal BS like anti 2A Uncle Tom for sB1 etc.
that’s horse shit pot meet kettle bs too.
Sorry to disappoint any constitutionalist here. You can let ‘em in all you want at your place.
Yes, you can ban guns from your property but it's unconstitutional for the government to do it for you. You open that door and yes the same people who gave us SB1, the government, will take the next step and ban even property owners from possessing guns on their own property. Why? Because a property owner can also be a dumbass with a gun and they're the government so they know what's best for everyone.

I guarantee you that the government, who practically created the term 'stubborn self righteous jerks' will out do you every time.

I have a friend in that position, he wife has a licensed day care at their home. She teaches the younger ones ( 3-4 yo ) to their ABCs and if they can some reading. Yes 4 yo can learn to start reading. SB1 says pre kindergarden facilities. Depending what Comar winds up saying he maybe screwed.

just like New york that wont let pastors who live on church property have a gun at home ( yes I know that was stayed and unstayed I dont remember where its at now )

Guess those with carry 'insurance' can probably drop it come October 1 since you'll have limited carry ability. Or you'll need to keep it for when you get busted carrying in a restricted zone you didn't know existed.

Of note, most of those insurance/membership arrangements also cover you when you use OTHER forms of self defense. And if you have to use your firearm in your home. You might have a no-chance-of-charges incident at home, but still get sued by the dead perp's mom because an ambulance chaser told her she could at least get the comfort of a bunch of money he was too dead to steal personally.
Or you'll need to keep it for when you get busted carrying in a restricted zone you didn't know existed.
Remember that most of these policies won't cover your legal expenses if you were doing something illegal when whatever happened happened. Illegal, like carrying where you're not allowed to, for instance. So if you get busted in a no-carry zone, it's entirely on you.

Carry insurance doesn't cover legal costs of you breaking the law carrying where you shouldn't. Carry insurance is for self defense shootings.
Carry insurance covers the legal costs of self defense in your home too. No need to drop it.

No one is saying you can't prevent someone from carrying in your home. We are just saying it should be your decision to do that for your own home not someone else's or the government's.
