What are the chances of SB-01 even passing into law?

And what are they trying to do, nitpick at the CCW law enough to dissuade people, turning it into an almost inconvenience to try to carry since we can’t even take them to retail stores and restaurants?? Even though the state of Maryland GAVE us these permits. Where would it even be “legal” to carry??

The democrats are acting like that girl that you break up with, then in spite, lies to everyone that you just got a STD solely for the purpose to keep you from getting laid elsewhere.

You seem to have a fine grasp of the level of emotional intelligence rampant in the MD GA.

Their grasp of the Constitutional issues, and the content of their oath of office, exists on a similar, if not lower level.

These points would seem to carry sufficient weight to file for a return of their law school tuition, as it seems they either cut their classes for three years, or paid someone to take the bar exams for them.

SB-01 will pass the anti gun Maryland General Assembly and the Governor is just waiting for his photo op with the Moms who want action to sign it into law. Then in a few days after MSI has put the finishing touches on it a lawsuit will be filed against this unconstitutional law.

They are doing exactally what all the other blue states are doing, grasping at straws because they are seeing their dream of gun control slipping through their fingers, so they pass unconstitutional laws in the hope of tying things up in court to delay the death of gun control for a few more months or years. They know they are unconstitutional and they will eventually get thrown out but it is the only thing left that they can do.

    That's an awfully specific analogy.
If there's one thing I've noticed here on this board is how much well earned personal experience abounds. Such is the rich soil that leads to profound wisdom. :bannana::bannana::bannana:

Gun control is easily the losingest issue the Democrats have. Common sense prevails, when Americans are in danger the first thing normies think of is 'get a gun'

I find it frustrating those who are active democrats do not speak out in opposition of gun control.

Only unconstitutional as long as the Constitution stands. When the composition of the SCOTUS changes (and it will eventually), this fight is back on full force. Educating future generations is key - they know that and are handily winning that fight.

I would think many of the county sheriffs and local law enforcement around the state are going to choose to not enforce it?

I have thought of beginning to ask various departments to see what they are thinking. However, after recent questioning of known AACO popo they tell me they "believe" trasnsport in vehicle must have one or other locked has always been the case (even with me mentioning fopa) so I'm having my doubts. Good idea to get them on record? at least the voted in positions.

Another thought, Is there a chance this is solely to get back at the SCT for the Bruen decision?

    Jpaul97, sorry about that ex-girlfriend thing. :)

I always find how long it takes some states, md is probably the worst, confusing

I sent in for my Utah a week before I electronically sent mds and then two or three weeks later I sent my Va and gla renewals In

My Va renewal said 60-90 days and it came back in two weeks. My md took 54 days to approval, I believe, but I don’t have it in my hands yet and Fla cashed my check and no word and Utah's over 60 days and no word.

But they are all cheaper than md and last longer

And md is bitching about losing money and wanting to decrease the length of the permits

Anyway. Md and the mga suck

Some states do have it worse. Not many though.

Doesn't matter MSP would have no problem picking up the tab the locals refuse to.

Is this in reference to people with MD wear and carry permits as well?
