Wish I could remember the manufacturer. They resemble a Anderson. But to remove the top and bottom to replace the glass wasn't difficult.
Nope, on those type windows, ya raise em up a smidge, tilt in and push up one side till the pivot points come out of the jamb.

Andersen windows are a little different. Some type make ya remove screws and pull the plastic tracks up and out, then the sash cord out of the hole in the sash and voila.

Oh no. Andersen does make a window called Renewal by Andersen. Those are a type of replacement window that Andersen makes. These may come apart in a similar way as your type. But the Andersen " new construction" windows come apart like I said. They are similar to the way the old school lead weight type double hungs worked, but their balancers are spring loaded gizmos in a box housed in the frame.

Mine are vinyl tilt windows. I have tried contacting (three times over the last year) the manufacturer using both their warranty form and general contact form, no answer. I am going to give a couple of the suggestions a call and see.

I am attaching the only pic I have on the phone at the moment. It's dark so it's a bit hard to get a good pic with the lack of light and a flash on the phone.

    That pic is perfect.

You should not have any trouble getting a glass shop like I mentioned to repair that. (Put new glass in)
I am down in Arbutus, not far from Old Ellicott City.

My fiancee's house is right around the corner from ABC supply too. They make their own replacement windows similar to yours, up in Hamden on Buena Vista

When I removed mine they had spring loaded sliders on each side that the wondow fit in. I want to say Continental is the brand. They were installed in 1996 when we built the house

Does anyone here do window repair? I have emailed a few dozen companies over the last year, and not a single one has bothered to answer their emails or contact forms. I have a Atrium Companies (Welcome, NC) double hung window that one of the neighbors hit with a mower propelled rock. Its only broken on the outside pane, but the whole glass pack needs to be replaced.

Any ideas of anyone that might actually answer an email, or perhaps a good phone number of someone who actually can help?

    Thanks,
    Mark
almost any glass company can measure and supply a new IGU, insulated glass unit. Simple job, I did it for 30 years but am retired now and living on astern shore. Call Caplan glass in Baltimore.
