Fear not, we will post any order we get from the Court. I don't expect an order soon, given what the court said at the Feb. 6 hearing. Maybe by the end of the month, at best. The judge did say that he was focused on "getting it right" which certainly is something I would encourage. I get that the delay is maddening. But there is nothing I or anyone else can do about it at this stage. So, all I can do is suggest patience.
Appreciate the update! Thank you for standing up for our rights. Hope for good news soon.

I suspect one of the factors playing into his priorities is the fact that MC is not actively prosecuting people. It lessens, but does not eliminate the priority in which he needs to make a decision.

If the county changes its collective mind and decides to start enforcing it, must they announce that in advance, or does the first arrest constitute an announcement?

There is no requirement to announce enforcement in advance. Given the arguments that they made in Court, I do not see them enforcing the law before the judge rules on the PI motion.

Thanks much. I understand them waiting for a ruling. I was just curious whether they had a notice requirement before commencing enforcement, or, more likely, their announcement will be in the form of an arrest of some poor sap.

    Quoted
    CONCLUSION
A TRO and a preliminary injunction should be granted without delay.
That is standard boilerplate written at the end of all responses. It means nothing except that MSI believes a TRO and PI should be granted without delay.

    It is.

    Nothing to get excited about.

    Sorry to be Danny Downer.
Don't worry, you didn't rain on any parade I was having. I was just throwing that out so no one decided to open carry at some diner outside the county council building. ;)

    Day 84 of oppression... :(
    And counting.

Even though MoCo clearly outed itself and completely undermined its own arguments multiple times during the briefings/hearings, I'm preparing myself for disappointment given this Judge's allegiance to the "Party".

It'll be like Justice Roberts with Obamacare who called an audible and substituted an argument that was never made:

This Judge will just make up some crap that wasn't argued and punt it for Appeal.
