Hello, I am looking for a OWB kydex holster that incorporates a mag carrier, it would be for a Springfield Armory Hellcat. The only ones I can find are all IWB unless they are made out of leather. Anyone know of a place that makes what I am looking for?

I was looking at the Crossbreed Rouge but it says that if you wear it OWB it would have to be in a cross draw position, I do not want that.

    Thanks for any information.

This is one of a few I use with mine and like it. Doesn't match my FDE but works.

Don't think that's a pic of your rig but the YUGE holosun wouldn't fit based on their matrix.

There should be plenty of better options out there. Look for kydex/leather combos. They tend not to crack between the holster and mag holder.

Never understood the holster/mag carrier combo fascination.

    YMMV
I'm going to force myself to start carrying a spare mag(incase the one in my gun shits the bed), but I'm with you, it will be in a separate holder. Like holsters, I'll probably go through a half dozen mag pouches before I find the right fit.

I tried several options and found this cheapo option best. Handles all mags well except full sized Glock.

I have separate mag holsters that I carry opposite side. No hand switch to reload. Granted, I've never had to do that IRW.

Yes. When I practice my reloads at the range, my front left pants pocket is my spare mag holder. I shoot right handed.

That's a really nice kydex holster for $40. What kind of belt do you use with that? I use a Nex belt. Just wondering because sometimes the stiffness of the holster fights the belt....

The more ammo you carry the better your odds of surviving. I carry one in the gun and 2 on my belt 21 rounds beat 7+1 any day. I also make my own mag holders.

Ammo does not give you better odds of surviving. Alertness, preparedness, and willingness are keys to survival. Mobility = survivability.
Your odds of survival are the same with 5 rounds or 65 rounds.
Of the hundreds of self defense shooting videos I have seen over the years, I never saw one civilian change out a mag.

Can't count the cop reload shoot outs trying to affect an arrest fighting against an armed adversary holed up in a vehicle shooting back.

The sidecar mag carriers seem like an awesome way to take a small gun and make it carry like a big gun. One of the advantages of something like a hellcat or 365 is that the gun is tiny and easy to conceal. Some of these sidecar rigs take a small gun and build a big ass plastic holster around it.... especially something owb.

I typically just toss an extra mag in the little flappy forward pocket on the 5.11 shorts, or run the mag carriers on my support side. It balances out the load on your belt and spreads around the gun-bulges.

Tks. I've used that holster with leather and nylon belts. Think one of the leather ones were from CrossBreed.

I've used this with a double mag pouch on opposite side during some 2-Gun action shooting and worked well. The only downfall were the 13 round mags. Have since upgraded to 15 round mags but still not enough for quick mag dumping onto multiple targets.

I like testing what I would carry daily and the reason for not wearing a cowboy gunslinger competition rig like others.

And when I'm in a rush and/or feeling lazy, the below has worked well for a few years. I sometimes use this mag holder with another IWB holster since it stays put in a pocket when I pull the mag out, and don't get pocket lint in the mag.

The Crossbreed Reckoning System can be switched to OWB.

Yes it can and have it too, but a pain to reconfigure based how I want to carry at the time. I'd rather have the leather against my skin (IWB) and the plastic against my trousers (OWB).
