Maryland Shall Issue (MSI) is actively fighting for gun rights in Maryland including fighting the newly enacted unconstitutional law in Montgomery County that effectively bans CC in most of the county. As part of that fight MSI has filed a motion for a temporary restraining order to block the implementation of the new law.

As part of that motion MSI states:
"MSI is an Internal Revenue Service certified Section 501(c)(4), non-profit, non-partisan, all-
volunteer membership organization with approximately 2500 members statewide......."

Imagine how much stronger that statement would be if they could state there were 5,000 members? What about 10,000 or 50,000 members? We are now at over 100,000 Wear, Carry and Transport permits issued so far this year. Are you a member? Or do you let everyone else do the heavy lifting while you skate by?

For the cost of a box of ammo you can be a member and make those membership numbers mean something. Join today and get at least one other gun owner to join also.

Link to the motion quoted above:

Also think of volunteering for their outreach they do. I did at a gun show a few years back. I myself have made a promise to volunteer to at least two (2) MSI events in 2023.

PS. Those polo shirts they sell are high quality and speak for themselves.

I suggest that MSI members do what I do. I made up web addresses for both MSI and MDS and keep them in my wallet and truck. At the range, I ask people if they belong to either and I give them a spiel and the addresses if they don't.

Years ago in my younger days, I used to make up flyers and ask gunshops if I could put them on their counters. None ever said no. I started that when Donny Shafer was starting some nonsense regarding gun control. I suggest today, NRA Instructors who are teaching the W&C class can give them out to their students. IDPA and USPSA Match Directors can give them out to match participants.

There are many ways to get the word out, all you have to do is commit to doing what you can.

Why wait, no time like the present, or at least no time like this Saturday afternoon at the Howard County fairgrounds.

Plus, gets you a head start on the "four time volunteer for a free membership renewal" for next year.

MSI has our brochures in a number of gun shops statewide. If you know of an LGS (or any other business) who wants some,
PM me and we'll get them some.

I joined shortly after Bruen while at the Nation’s Gun Show. I joined a shooting club shortly after that and, during the orientation, the instructor talked about MSI. I was shocked that I was the only member out of the 20 in the orientation. Amazing stuff MSI does with such limited resources.

I am hoping they are watching the charles county commissioners because they are trying to push more restrictions on places that can be carried in the county.
