MSI Membership Badge

Can we get an MSI membership badge for the forum profiles? MSI membership is crucial to keep what limited rights we have and help with the ones they’re on a mission to reclaim.

That’s not the intention, it’s to gather more support for MSI. It seems there are a lot of new members who are unaware of them and the great work they’re doing. Supporting MSI now is more critical than ever, especially when there are greater chances of success thanks to Justice Thomas.

I think it's a good idea. Puts MSI right up there prominently, where folks can see it and hopefully follow suit.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to MSI, and certainly the struggle is far from over; but at last, we finally have a strong footing in the legal system, which is where this battle must be fought. It's certainly not going to be won in the legislature, until they're forced by the courts to stop with the blatantly unconstitutional laws.

If it gets more people involved in the fight, I say go for it. I routinely give out flyers at my club to get people to join MDS and MSI. The younger shooters who usually just turn out for Saturday shooting are the hardest to get involved.

Maybe MSI could consider reduced membership fees for young shooters -- or even free for the first year.

Membership has its privileges.

Delaware members should consider joining this, and also Delaware State Sportsman Association (DSSA). These groups fight the good fight for our 2nd amendment right.

Providing a way for MSI’s membership admin database to drive a calendar-based feature on the MDS forum software: Ugh

Maybe instead use the forum’s native donation/support feature to provide a way - just like being an MDS supporter - to donate to the MSI litigation fund, and get a 12-month badge for that (because the MDS system would be self-aware of that activity, and nobody at MSI would have to get dragged into non-stop administration of the badges here).

In such a scenario, MDS could collect the administrative costs of handling those donations and passing (most) the rest of it on to MSI.
