Woke up from my nap and looked out my sliding door and I've got 2 bucks bedded down 20 to 30 yards from my chair, what are the laws in MD on hunting from a Lazy Boy.:D One is a nice size 8 pointer.

As long as you have a DNR ID., and you are 150 yards from the closest occupied structure. Whack'em

Otherwise, you need written permission from those neighbors.

You might need to be more concerned with what Mrs Augie has to say about hunting from your recliner.

Had a friend back in the days when you could take one deer - only bucks unless you got a very lucky "doe permit", who shot a buck from his second story bathroom window on Opening Day about an hour after sunrise. Heck of a way to open and close your season.

Have seen the 8 pointer in the yard and woods the last couple months, really surprised to see them bedded down today. My property backs up tp Piney Run reservoir so pretty used to lots of wildlife plus 3/4 of my lot is wooded for even more habitat. Couple more pics.

OP, you shot both already with a camera.

I've been within 7 yards from a doe over the past two days (IDK WTF that doe was looking for). Used to have a herd in that area a few years back.

Thinking to add some corn to help them through the winter.

OP, those are some nice pictures, but the one where he's hanging up on a gambrel is suspiciously missing. You should rectify that.

As for hunting from the house. The previous owner of my current house used to shoot any groundhogs from inside the house by way of a 12ga and an open window in the bathroom, rear bedroom, or dining room. Between being a retired artilleryman and that activity, it's no reason he's deaf as a stump!
