Umm, I believe the case they are referring to, is the one in front of the MD Court of Special Appeals, that ruled that Bruen was controlling and that the previous two cases MSP relied on, were now null and void. That case was decided either earlier in the day that Hogan made his mandate, or the day before.

Call v Jones used the William Rounds decision from the CoSA

The Rounds v MSP opinion was written July 27,
In the motion to dismiss Call v Jones, 08/03/2022, the joint motion stated,

    7. "On July 5, 2022, Governor of Maryland Lawrence J. Hogan, Jr. issued
a statement in which he declared that, “n light of [Bruen] and to ensure
compliance with the Constitution, [he was] directing the Maryland State Police to
immediately suspend utilization of the ‘good and substantial reason’ standard when
reviewing applications for Wear and Carry Permits.”1 Governor Hogan stated that
the New York law at issue in Bruen was “virtually indistinguishable from
Maryland law,” and that therefore “t would be unconstitutional to continue
enforcing this provision in state law.”
    8. Both the Supreme Court’s decision in Bruen, as well as the
Governor’s response, render this case moot."

So other than Bruen, what case preempted "Fat Larrys the RINO order to MSP?" None. We would have had to wait until the Rounds Opinion was out before G&S was gone. 7/27/2022.

The GA will pass new laws to infringe. Does anyone here doubt that?

If MSP goes full retard, they would be in contempt of court, this judge could have the Super put in jail.
Which law enforcement agency would arrest and jail the Super?

Threeband's concerns are not without a legitimate basis. The rule of law has become exceedingly arbitrary and politicised over the last several years.

Well, given that MSP HQ is in Pikesville, I suppose that would fall to BCoPD or the sheriff’s office. Would be interesting to see the political wrangling.

Maybe Dept of General Services Police?

Problem with new bosses. They always want to please the current powers that be...

Pray for someone who will honor their oath to uphold the constitution.

MSP Super was required by the court decision, Hogan was posing for cameras. His "instruction" had no legal weight. Bruen rules
SCOTUS defined the law. Now let them enforce it.

The Governor may not have had the authority because of a court case, but MSP changed their policy after his order.

    You be the judge
