Too bad they are not giving the current processing time ... or better yet an average processing time for each week or month. We are no where near 51.6 days right now.

A sliding 30-day average would be more helpful. If what you say is true, the average days to approval should be rising.Too bad they are not giving the current processing time ... or better yet an average processing time for each week or month. We are no where near 51.6 days right now.
Great info. Thank you. I recall mine taking around 40 days.

I'm at 62 days from acceptance. Probably a few more days from what I am seeing. So average is probably 60-65 which is 10 days slower than before?Too bad they are not giving the current processing time ... or better yet an average processing time for each week or month. I'm just guessing and don't really know...but I suspect most likely arrest and/or conviction records for various things.1 out of every 100 (roughly) is getting disapproved. I find that interesting - I wonder what's causing them to be disapproved.
I guess to compare apples to apples we need to measure how many work days it takes for approval not just calendar days.I'm at 62 days from acceptance. Probably a few more days from what I am seeing. So average is probably 60-65 which is 10 days slower than before?
Cool info.
I'm not sure I'd even bother to try to apply if I had something in my record that I wasn't positive had been expunged, or would otherwise prevent me from getting it. It's a lot of effort to go through and a lot of money spent only to get denied.I'm just guessing and don't really know...but I suspect most likely arrest and/or conviction records for various things.
Or those who were not truthful. I would imagine lying about even a minor arrest would result in denial even if that arrest would not be a disqualification.I'm just guessing and don't really know...but I suspect most likely arrest and/or conviction records for various things.
we don’t know for sure if the numbers are consecutive…I want to see the MSP defend only 51K applications approved, when their own numbering scheme has this year's approved carry permit numbers over91K93K.
It also looks like the app number gets assigned a number, with letters in front of it. Then when the permit is approved they move on to a new number, which means every approved permit has actually burned up 2 numbers.I want to see the MSP defend only 51K applications approved, when their own numbering scheme has this year's approved carry permit numbers over91K93K.
Instead of us guessing, the MSP should spell it out since they are already providing numbers. It also looks like the app number gets assigned a number, with letters in front of it.
