I have a Certum 3 for my P365. I really like comfortable and very secure
I like it a lot but I wish the skin side of the Kydex swept up to cover all of the slide. I’ve been using a cheap Versacarry leather IWB and i like the feel very well. I think I’m going to call the guy Ed Shell bought from and get one made. I also got a leather/kydex hybrid from Versacarry is good too but I really like the full leather more.

I should’ve bought the Velo4. Seems like that is what I wanted but didn’t know it at the time.

Regardless of distance between clips, I always go with a 2-clip holster. I find them to be more stable.

For a hybrid, I have used the Crossbreed Supertuck for about 10 years with a P229. Very comfortable. The horsehide is worth the extra because it is hydrophobic. The two distally placed clips distribute the gun weight and allow for adjusting cant of gun. It also reduces the bulk of having the clips right at the holster.

I have recently ordered a Tier 1 T1-Echo, but have not worn one of these yet. It is same type/style as the Supertuck and Comfort Tuck, but is full Kydex with a “hinge” threaded with shock cord.

I have heard good things about the Tenicor Certrum3, but have no personal knowledge.

I have the Tenicor Velo4 w/ DCC clips for AIWB and it is EXTREMELY comfortable. It is also tuckable (w/DCC clips) and, even with a light colored normal size T-shirt, doesn’t print.

I’ve been using the tenicor certum3 (Glock 43X) for about a year now. Very comfortable IWB holster. Probably the best I’ve ever used.

I think you'll be pleased with Eric's work. I have three he's done (3 different guns) and am waiting on a 4th, a pancake for a P365X now that the weather has cooled off. He said he expected to ship it Monday or Tuesday of this week, so I should have it any time. I have an all-leather, single clip IWB from Eric at HBE Leatherworks called the 'ProSlim' for my P365/P365X and I find it very comfortable and stable. The clip is very strong and holds well. I posted pics of it over at the 'Talk Me Into A P365' thread. I usually carry it AIWB, but it also rides well at 3:30.

I saw those pics and like it. Just need to get off my arse and call him. It’s for the same gun: P365X. Maybe I’ll get ProSlim and the pancake and get rid of the rest.

I don’t have much actual wear time outside of the house with it but the PHLster Pro for the 365 is pretty comfortable and they have several clip/loop options that you can order and swap out.

I also have their city special for j frames and it is nice too. For the record, I’ve been primarily carrying a j frame in a pocket holster and trying out a couple Galco leather offerings. Once I have a better idea of what I like, I’ll probably order something from HBE. I liked what I saw from E.Shell’s post on the other thread.

Unless you pay MSRP, Galco is a good value in popular “old school” configurations without the wait.

Tenicor for the win over any brand out there. The range of mounting options and methods blows the others away. Forms to guns well. Issue is they don't make them for many pistols.
I love that they literally tell you their holsters are not for safe queens.

I have an alien gear hybrid holster with the neoprene back like you're describing. While the holster itself is extremely comfortable to wear, it is not that great for actual concealment. My gun prints significantly more than other holsters. You may want to consider a minimalist kydex holster. I'm currently using a Priority1 IWB holster for my Macro and I love it.

Stop all the Kydex plastic noise and tomfuckery.

The best IWB especially in hot weather or year round is still Milt Sparks Summer Special or SS-2.

There’s a backlog but it’s worth the wait.

I actually like the alien gear, its pretty good IMO, spreading the weight out along the belt. It’s not the best or worst, but I can deep carry a full size 1911 and it essentially disappears at the 2:30ish and 4:00ish positions. Slight chance of printing the butt of the gun on 3:00 position, which is common place on that position. I also like the ability to convert it to the paddle/belt or other positions.

I also have a couple quick on kydex IWB as well, depending on what I want to wear that day.

The Alien Gear Shape Shifter was the last of two IWB holsters I tried. I went to OWB leather from DeSantis, after a less than perfect try of Urban Carry OWB.

That doesn't mean Shape Shifter won't work for your *werid* body shape. I kid, I kid...maybe I'm the one with weird body shape. I've seen enough posts about, "what works for me, might not work for you", to say you just have to "collect" a bunch of holster to see what you can dial in to your physique. I'm up to 5, so that tells you something.

The only IWB I can say I use on a quick run to the store, is a trigger guard holster. Lots of companies make them...here is just an example: Amazon product ASIN B07FPRZ6D8
I just ordered a DeSantis mini slider owb. Should have it by Tuesday.

I completely do not remember seeing height options. Dang it.
Know what? I was wrong. I must have looked at hundreds of these things...
    From their site:
    • The mid-ride shirt guard is carefully profiled to allow for an unencumbered high thumb grip.
    My apologies.

    Just do this.
Get some cardboard or this shipping bag wrap.
Get some cloth tape. I have GOON Tape.
Cut out piece of wrap in the dimension you desire.
    Wrap that piece with tape.
Tape that piece to the holster.

Easy fix. I've been doing this for many years.

With the thumb break? I cut the outward part off as soon as I took it out of the packing. I didn't want a new muscle memory learning curve. It's my favorite and I'm doomed to keep OWB. I really like how high it rides. Comfortable and I forget it's there. Since then I ordered a Crossbreed with leather backing and kydex holster and it's close to as good as the DeSantis. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
