I received a letter today saying no criminal history has been found and the fingerprint supported national criminal history has been initiated. Still no NICS on the print application. Application was accepted (after delays for missing content) on 9/25.

the actual permit? nope just typically 4-7 days after approval you get the wonderful package in the mail.

Back in July-August i got my permit in 28 day from summited to approved now wife is waiting much longer
her time line is
Submitted= 9/04
kicked back for shortage’s = 9/06
resubmitted = 9/07 (she didn't sign her training/score sheet)
Accepted = 09/12
nics # = 11/11
Approved = ????? Hopefully this upcoming week.

There is no way you got your permit in 28 days. My application was accepted on 8/4 and was approved on 9/23. That was 50 days and early in the process. look at mhasel's chart. No one got their permit in 28 days.
