Some Montgomery Countians need to start asking their County Council members how much it will cost in taxpayer money to pay for defending an unconstitutional law all the way to the Supreme Court just to loose the case.

Every last penny of the tax payers dollar. That's the great thing about Socialism... its somebody ELSE'S money. If you think they give one iota of a darn about pissing away tax dollars for the sake of emotions and wokeness, you are sorely mistaken. Monkey County is way too far gone to ever be saved. I've got 3.5 years left in this miserable Liberal "utopia" before I move to a free state...

`When enough voters call asking the same thing elected officials tend to pay attention. Passing this law is just a waste of your and your neighbors tax dollars. They won't listen to me because I can't vote for or against them but they will listen to you and your neighbors. How many of your neighbors have you talked to about this? Don't bother with discussing wear and carry just focus on it is wasting money because the Supreme Court Opinion, and be ready to point out where, says this legislation is unconstitutional and will fail after a long expensive legal battle. Most people do not like wasting tax dollars fighting lost causes just to make a point.

“Stated simply, regardless of the personal views of members of the County Council, this County is bound by the decisions of the Supreme Court, including decisions involving the Second Amendment. The County needs to rethink this Bill. If the County persists with the enactment of Bill 21-22, it will not survive judicial review. Defying the Supreme Court did not work for the racist proponents of segregation who refused to accept Brown v. Board in the 1950s and 1960s, and it will not work for any County attempt to defy Bruen.”

Actually, if MoCo can attract violent criminals towards its easy pickings and away from the rest of us in other counties who don't elect county councils like theirs, I'm okay with that.

Sounds like they are going to change the language of "place of public assembly" and specifically designate where you can't carry.

But, I think you still become a criminal if you drive or walk past and are within 100 yards.

The part with Chief Jones is hard to watch. I cannot really tell what he is trying to say when he is talking about "blue on blue." Is he hinting that people who are conceal carrying are more likely to get shot by the police?

His spiel on training is pretty bogus, too.

The restricted carry locations are BS, but then they add a 100 yard perimeter to those locations. Double BS? What about those who live next to a park? Are they going to be felons for having legal firearms in their homes? I can't wait until I can move from here.
