Range Day tomorrow

Plan to visit there for the first time this week. Are there range officers or does everyone monitor themselves? can you set up targets at varying distances on the pistol range or just shoot what’s provided?

There are range officers, and for the pistol range, all of the targets were setup at 25 yards (75 feet).

There are range officers, and targets are only set up at 25 yards (75 feet). You can bring your own targets if you wish.

They are deaf as posts but friendly and are happy to share in any deli meat your lunch may contain. Many years ago when MDS members got together for events there I almost took one home by accident. It had taken up residence in my range bag due to poor weather.

PSA: check twice for range cats.

Wouldn't surprise me. I wonder if I can get a DC cat permit. Do they need to be declawed? Limited number of cats in the vehicle?

I could bring my friend's cat, that thing will shred you playing nevermind when he's actually pissed about something. I'd rather fight a dog, they are only sharp at one end. Cats are sharp at five.

I love DSC. My only complaint is the pistol range targets are getting run down. Specifically the dueling tree and speed rack. Range cats are super cute.

The metal targets have been shot so many times that even one of the targets on the speed rack has a hole in it, and should be replaced.

I'll be heading to Delmarva tomorrow. I will be taking several guns. I just bought a Sig P322 and put a Holosun 407 on it. It needs some range time. Will also be taking a Ruger 10/22 custom build to keep the Sig company. Also bringing my FN57. Going to be a fun day. Anyone else going?

I think there are several member from here that shoot at Delmarva including myself. If your interested in meeting up for some range time just post and maybe you will get someone to join you. I posted pretty short notice the other day so I wasn't expecting any responses. However I did end up meeting a couple guys there and one of them is a member. It was a great day. Not crowded at all. I'll attach a picture of the target I shot with my Ruger 10/22 from 50 yards. No magnification. Just a red dot.
