Sounds like you need a game camera or two to monitor activity, so you can make educated guesses.Going out this afternoon. Goal: not move. Seems simple enough, right? But it seems that deer never do the same thing two days in a row. Should I gamble on the spot I was (or should've stayed) yesterday, or should I sit elsewhere?

Do you know why the deer move through there?Going out this afternoon. Goal: not move. Seems simple enough, right? But it seems that deer never do the same thing two days in a row. Should I gamble on the spot I was (or should've stayed) yesterday, or should I sit elsewhere?
I think it’s the other way around but I’ll be honest and say I’ve never considered the air flow during different pressures.Do you know why the deer move through there?
I try to avoid hunting low pressure weather. Your scent pours downward from your stand and deer tend not to move well.
My 2 cents.
For me it was way too warm in September to think about hunting. October and November I’m usually into deer hunting. Thanks for all of the replies. I hunt public land, so game cameras are out of the question. I see (what I think is) the same buck early in the morning before shooting hours and then around sunset, but I have no idea where he actually beds down.
Where I sit is usually well-traveled by other deer, but I just like to come here to share/gripe/complain. Lol. I swear there was more chatter on last season's thread. Maybe it's too early in the season.
There are many conditions that can affect air flow.I think it’s the other way around but I’ll be honest and say I’ve never considered the air flow during different pressures.

How do we know what the pressure is? How do we know how it changes over time?scied.ucar.edu
Oh hell yeah! I've written pages on MDS about Ozonics. I've been using them for about 10 years. I recently saw someone post about how too much ozone is unhealthy. It will give you a sore throat if you have it blowing directly on you. Thing is, it isn't supposed to blow directly on you. It's supposed to be pointed towards the down-wind stream and disperse into your scent cone. You shouldn't smell, though there are times it is unavoidable, a falling barometer is one.Agree the blue bird days have been best for me.
Believe it or not I’ve seen a noticeable difference using It Ozonics
Good luck!Welp, shot fired across the port bow. Well, hopefully not. 40 yards, 2 points, quartering away, sounded like a solid hit, he darted off but then slowed as he hit the treeline. Didn't see my bruiser until I jumped him walking back to set up the carrier. Going to give it another 30 minutes before I go search.
Thanks! I can put the thermal to good use!Good luck!
Good luck! Perfect conditions for the thermal. Hope you beat the rain. It's pouring in Washington County.Welp, shot fired across the port bow.
