Sorry I am referring to the time it will take to be mailed out after approval. Submitted 7/24
    Accepted 8/3
    Nics9/3
    Approval 9/20
    Cjis received in mail 9/27
Called msp asking about license in the mail time frame and was told 2-3 weeks after approval.
They probably say 2-3 weeks instead of 3 days so people stop calling them to ask when their permit will arrive.

Taking time to answer phone is probably what is putting them behind. :D

In the old paper application days, an inquiring phone call would bump your application back to bottom of pile.

I'm surprised, I thought I had another few days to a week.
Do you happen to have a September birthday? Perhaps they are looking ahead a few days and prioritizing to avoid longer expiration dates (24 months for approval in September vs. 35 months for approval in October), though that would seem counterproductive considering the current and anticipated backlog...

Today’s approvals with acceptance dates of 8/5, 8/6, 8/7, 8/8, 8/9, and now 8/10… have completely thrown a wrench in the data thus far…
They probably told that investigator he can't go on vacation till his pile cleared. All auto approved and they out the door. Mine is probably with the person reviewing line by line each app.
