I have young man at my company that had illegal firearm possession conviction and all he got was probation, I do not know if PGCo has BS law like BB gun is considered a firearm, but if the municipalities really cared about safety crimes like this would have mandatory minimums.

Too bad there doesn't appear to be a cause of action against Everytown so we could go to the source of the problem. The Moms are just useful idiots to create crowds for media cameras.
Everytown is certainly the brains and the funding source. Them and Brady.

The Brady Bunch seems to be a non-entity today since the death of Sarah Brady and Bloomberg's big dollar subsidizing of other groups. They're still out there making noise but get little attention without Sarah's using the memory of her husband like Biden does Beau.

Basically...the media has moved on...little juice left to squeeze from that lemon.

Is there a mechanism for when States don't follow the SCOTUS? It seems like when a ruling doesn't go their way they ignore the ruling. To correct them it takes years of additional court cases and the process starts all over again.

Yes, and it takes years of suits to bring them in line with injunctions. Happened a lot in the aftermath of Brown v. Board in the 50s and 60s. Ignoring an injunction brings big fines.

This is why we need support at the Federal level. State and local governments didn't give up on segregation until the officials running them were facing prison time.

I remember that during the big push for the FSA in 2013, someone tried bring harsher penalties for actual criminals, that got knocked down real quick. Too expensive, not enough room in prisons yada yada.
Same thing in 2022 with the 2 crime bills, but it has nothing to do with funding.

But he has no problem making felons out of middle aged white men,, or any conservative black men.

Continuation of the human tragedy these folks have created with policy. If you don't want to see young black men going to prison, fix the flaws in the system that drive crime. Create real pathways to let these kids escape the poverty and crime ridden areas they live in. I see none of that. These are our fellow Americans, and they deserve to enjoy what America has to offer.

Right. Add broken homes and public school systems from kindergarten on up that provides no real consequences for unacceptable behavior. What do people expect to come from that…

The problem with everytown and moms is they are are normal enough looking that can infilitrate any group at the grass roots levels and as long as they don't go full libtard they are not noticed. I am pretty sure we have many Everytown and Moms here and they are in the WC. All they do is take notes and occasionally post things innocuous enough that most will never land on a ban or ignore list.
