Me personally? I have both IWB and OWB, I've done dozens of practice draws in various carry positions, basically Depending on what I am wearing depends on which style i'll use. That and where I'm at to avoid unnecessary attention... Most likely would be CC in Moco, but OC in Calvert... Specifically based off not wanting to deal with being delayed bc of a MWAG call

OC is part of the constitutional right to keep and bear arms. That's the first and most significant reason, but if that's not sufficient, even for people who don't like or aren't interested in OC, it's important for it to remain legal for a couple different, rather practical reasons. First, it protects CCers whose weapon may accidentally or inadvertently become uncovered from being arrested. In an anti-2A state like Maryland, if OC wasn't legal, I would fully expect some police departments to arrest CCers whose weapons become accidentally uncovered by bending over to pick something up, or from brushing against something, or a strong gust of wind, or for any other completely innocent and unintentional reason. In addition, I would not be surprised if some police departments would arrest (or try to arrest) people for simply printing, if OC was made illegal. The second reason is in some circumstances for some people, OC may be the only viable option, or the option that makes the most sense at the time.

Well they couldn't do that because there is no law against printing. Of course that may change this Spring when the tyrants in Annapolis get busy trying to screw us.

That concerns me because I have an OWB holster. There's no legal or constitutional basis for making it a crime to simply open carry. Open carry was allowed in the United States for centuries. I tried wearing a jacket while wearing my OWB holster, and my friend told me that he can see it printing. If it were to be illegal to open carry in Maryland, then I don't know how I could conceal carry while outside during the cold months of the year. I would have to buy an IWB holster, which would cost a lot of money, considering what makes a holster practical for EDC, easy and comfortable to wear, and still allows me to easily draw a handgun, God forbid that I have no other choice in a situation.

OWB is not the same as Open carry. So far I've only ever carried OWB because it's far more comfortable for me. Still trying to find an IWB setup that's comfortable but it's tough with a muffin top lol.
Why wouldn't you carry OWB under a shirt (in warmer months) or a jacket/sweatshirt (in colder months)

Yeah, but it's not as easy to conceal carry an OWB holster. I found mine to be comfortable to wear, but not easy to put on. To be fair, it's still new, and so it hasn't been worn out to the point where I can slip it on my jeans. I didn't get my holster until about a month ago, and so I never tried wearing a shirt over the holster. Even with my jacket, I still print.

Still printing with a jacket? What do you carry?

I haven’t carried much but wearing a thin t shirt (like under armour or equivalent) and a button down casual shirt has been fine so far. I carry a Sig P365xl in either a Bravo Concealment OWB Kydex or a Versacarry Guardian leather OWB. Either one of these with my KORE belt work very well.

I don't currently own a handgun, but I'm planning to get a Glock 19 for EDC. I'm using the JE Tech OWB Glock 19 holster.

I carry with a Safariland OWB holster. Look in to buying shirts one size too big and designated as "tall", as they will go further below your belt. If you wear a large, buy an XL-T. Just buy one for starters and see how it works out for you.
Loose fitting clothing is key for breaking up a print.

I was on it, and did a little talking. it kind of just turned in to a bs session. Started off with reasons and opinions on OC vs CC. drifted to what annapolis may do, or what people think. it was pretty balanced, only a few really talked. highest count I saw was 44 people. it did go in to training and how some need more. Over all no one said mandatory was a good thing.

he put a pole up somewhere and it had under 150 votes and was 4 to 1 CC vs OC

It was pretty much a majority of the people talking explaining why they think OC is bad. They think it's gonna scare enough people to prompt the MGA to outlaw it. Personally don't think it would make a damn bit of difference, if they are going to screw us, it's gonna happen regardless.

So as predicted, this zoom meeting was basically a complete waste of time.

I'm done caring about viewpoints of those who would be OK with OC being outlawed because they don't like it.
