    Juuuuust over the line
Evidently theyre fifth column zealots misrepresenting themselves as persons of an official capacity. Theirs contact info located in the small print.
Im not aware of anyone from those organizations in/near my community who could be personally influenced at this time.
Yes, look at the fine print at the bottom. This is the usual wet dream legislative wish list from Marylanders to Prevent Guns. They are still a danger to us, I seem to recall that they laundered Bloomburg's money to pay for his lobbyist who wrote most of the Firearm Suppression Act of 2013.

They want to make it more profitable for the "Criminal" Justice System to milk the well-to-do conservatives in this state.

That's where the money is, after all.

The Thug Revolving Door provides a nice steady income and job security, but targeting where the money is makes for bigger paydays. It also focuses on the natural enemies of governmental tyranny in MD. Win win.

What I'd like to know is where Jared got this information. MSI is not posting anything like this.
He's posting ******** nonsense like he always does. The information he refers to has been posted here on MDS several time since it came out back in July. None of it is from the MGA, but a wish list from the anti's. No bills have been written yet or filed.

He really does love to fear monger to those with BGOS.

    Perhaps, but I do think 1Q 2023 will be...uh..."interesting."

They're nuts. No surprise on my behalf.
Isn’t it odd there is no mention of harsher penalties for those who commit crimes of
armed robbery, car jacking, dope dealing, etc., repeat offenders, increasing bail bond amounts or limiting reduction of sentences for convicted individuals. Absolutely nothing about anything to penalize criminals. It’s all about making the law abiding pay the price and tow the line.

Is amazing how they go for the same “solutions” but never get any results. These people are so biased that they are hopeless. Only solution is to vote them out as they will never see the error of their ways. But worst the population buys their BS retrorockets without questions. We have to change that if we are to have any hope of change.

I am a "glass half full" kind of guy, and I remain hopeful.

    1. It took basically all of O'$hitead's political capital to ram FSA 2013 down our throats and it will likely be declared unconstitutional soon. FSA 2013 wouldn't have passed otherwise. Karma got him back though and now he's a nobody.
    2. It took years for the "ghost gun" ban to pass, but even then it's not necessarily a ban.
    3. Everything that was left out of FSA 2013 hasn't passed since then.

That being said, I'm still an MSI member and encourage everyone to contribute/join if at all possible because if it weren't for them the above wouldn't be true. I don't think it's all doom and gloom though - I really think the MGA may take a "wait and see" approach to see how everything in New York shakes out.

I remember attending "town halls" for FSA 2013 that were packed beyond capacity and not a single person spoke in favor of the proposed law - even in Baltimore City. Heck, we even shut down the state building to testify (remember the Chessmaster Raskin?).

I remember that during the big push for the FSA in 2013, someone tried bring harsher penalties for actual criminals, that got knocked down real quick. Too expensive, not enough room in prisons yada yada.

He is not far off about the desires of the Everytown, Moms etc. Whether they get this BS through the General Assembly is a different question. Of course, if they cross the line, we will have them court forthwith.

Too bad there doesn't appear to be a cause of action against Everytown so we could go to the source of the problem. The Moms are just useful idiots to create crowds for media cameras.
