Interesting because I just googled the OC main website and it sure has a large amount of advertising towards family fun, family activities, family resorts. To which my family decided to go over the summer.

If you advertise a venue as "family fun" and make no effort to minimise misbehavior by drunken asshats, I see plenty of ground for complaint.

If you're a drunken whoremongering asshat, there should be a place for you to exercise your member without shaking it in the face of someone's child.

There is quite a large difference between a literal pedophile, like say Matt Gaetz or Lauren Boebert's husband, and some "drunk whores booty dancing" on a public beach. Both are wrong, as you've made that clear, but it doesn't take a genius to understand the pretenses are different. Being in a public space and accidently letting some titty hang out doesn't immediately make someone a sex offender. Such as a nude bike ride in a city. You are well within your rights to leave the beach to protect your family from that if you choose so.

However, I'm to assume you're a prude Karen who claims to have called the mayors office because he saw someone naked on a public beach. Equating that to pedophilia just shows how depraved you really are, and I feel bad for you and your family.

The lack of self awareness never ceases to amaze me. It's like you people, who cry about government over watch, want a Police State to make sure people aren't showing too much skin at the beach. Or Morality Police to make sure everyone is acting correctly in public. Which is it?

Putting myself in this circumstance I would likely move my towel or ask someone to put their pants on, it's really simple to just act normal in situations. I'm never going to tell someone they're making a bad choice for their kids or family, but I will always make fun of how hilariously asinine their actions are.

Funny I just realized someone is actually giving me a hard time about calling the police to enforce public nudity and drunkenness law in front of children .

Something doesn't jive in this story and I'm not questioning the OP, I know him and he's a friend of mine. When the cop comes back after calling the gun center and still states that the gun center said that OC is a no go then why would he not immediately cuff and stuff our hero?

At one particular HPRB meeting when a certain trainer who may or may not have shot himself in the leg recently had his restrictions removed I witnessed a member of the MSP follow said trainer out of the room (and of course I followed because I "had to hit the head") where I heard this officer plead with this trainer to please don't OC. It seems that this particular trainer had a history of doing so around SoMD.

It may be the bent of the MSP that they prefer free men and women NOT to OC but I don't believe for a second that the gun center told this particular cop that OC was illegal.

Methinks the cop was just throwing the bogus BS flag at the OP in hopes that he would back off his fervent claim that OC is legal.

Kudos are in order to the OP for knowing his rights and being able to articulate them under pressure. Well done.

If the OC officer did lie about his discussions with the MSP Gun Center he could be in hot water if that body cam video gets out.

Another reason to make my wife go get her W&C as soon as she delivers my next kid. She can stay with the younger kids and the heater while I’m off swimming with my older kids
