Average number of days from submittal to approval is 53 days, acceptance to approval is 43 days.

This is not true for me. Unless they come through today. Today is 43rd after my acceptance. And 14 days from NICS

You can almost place a bet on being approved on either day 17 or 18 from NICS unless you are one of the outliers who got NICS unusually early.
