7/29 to 8/1 will be a big slow down. My trainer had qualification of all their July classes start on 7/31, and I expect each weekend after that date to have large number submission.

If we are correct about the permit numbers, we know how many applications are outstanding from 7/29 to 8/4: As of 8/4 MSP zoom call, there were 25k applications. As of today 16-17k have been approved. That means 8000-9000 apps remaining from between 7/29 and 8/4. It will take ~ 3-4 weeks to get through those at the current approval rate, putting 8/4 applicants around 75+ days from acceptance to approval. I think they will get through them a little faster because they will hire people.

Agree I’m a 8/3 Accepted and I’m thinking I have another weeks to approval.

I wonder how many in the pool were not approved, maybe 1-2%?

you mean denied? my guess would one tenth that. good question- we can ask on the 14th!

Yeah denied. I suspect the number is higher, some people are not as diligent about things they think disqualifies them, or do remember correctly whether they got PBJ or Probation from a guilty plea.

I don't get the application numbers. Submitted on 8/26, accepted on 8/29, application # is 17xxx. Friend of mine submitted a few hours after me, and he is 78xxx.

I did start my app back in June. I wonder if you application # is generated when you actually start the app.

Yes - App numbers are generated when you create an app, not when you submit.
