Nope, ends up right above the pocket and in between the belly and the love handles lolI’ll bet you drink Lite beer. It’s a joke.
Not to offend but some of us have Dunlop disease and 9-3 is forbidden zone for AWB

Want to know what’s more uncomfortable than appendix carry?
Not being able to carry… and finding that you needed it.
I’m not trying to be obtuse here.
However, overanalyzing this to the smallest details is going to get you nowhere.
As those who’ve been doing this for decades have found out… the only way to do it is to adjust your habits and practices to allow for the inconveniences it is going to present.
Over 3 1/2 decades of lawful concealed carry, has taught me that much about the practice.
• choose clothing and equipment around the chosen weapon to fit without being obvious
• make it secure, so that you are NOT “adjusting” the weapon as you walk
• keep your hands away from the area as you go about your travels, but not held out like a guardrail. Just don’t be touching it to “check”
• walk as you would normally
• don’t call attention to yourself
There actually is a behavioral science known as “Characteristics of the Armed Person”. It is a study of how so many folks tend to project the fact that they are armed. Simply by mannerisms and nervous habits which they tend to do. Habits that tell the professionals “Yeah, I’m carrying a weapon… please don’t notice!” Or “Hey y’all stand back ‘cause I’m strapped!”
Don’t try to overthink this sh!t.
If you have your permit, and you walk armed, and you’re doing it legal and right… then soon enough… it will become natural enough.
Sounds like you and I have similar problems. I don't carry a 45 but I am in good shape and wear somewhat tight-fitting shirts. I carry a S&W Shield 9mm with mag extensions in the warmer months. I find that appendix carry is the way to go. Most people will tell you it is uncomfortable or dangerous and I say to that: It takes some getting used to and train train train. there is a right way and a wrong way to carry appendix but it definitely helps with printing. The bane of carrying a compact in 45 acp. During summer! Just sucks in all aspects...
Atheletic body type but my downfall is i wear small or medium shirts...
Seconded.Thank You. good Info.
You dress around the gun. You don't micro the gun to accommodate your body.
Exactly. What do we hear from them? It’s the new normal. Get used to it.It’s Wear and Carry. Who cares?
Okay comedianGo appendix before you sit down and read the forum. See how long you can go. If you can't get to the point where you catch up on the posts, try again later or the following day.
Wouldn't even make it half a day through the application update thread that way.. 4 for me all day long.Go appendix before you sit down and read the forum. See how long you can go. If you can't get to the point where you catch up on the posts, try again later or the following day.
So , it's basically an over engineered and over priced belly band ?
One of the often unspoken of advantages of appendix carry. If someone gets touchy and reaches THERE.......let's just say it's not generally socially acceptable for acquaintances to be reaching or even looking there.Hand of fabric and print on your shirt.
How the fabric lays or drapes is important.
Wearing a shirt with a pattern helps reduce printing as well. The more inconsistent the pattern, the better.
Personally, I wear a (wicking) t shirt under a collared shirt. I tuck the t shirt to reduce any chance of chafe or rub as I tend to carry 4 o’clock and OWB. I carried a 1911 year round for many years. Now it’s pretty much 9mm. Occasionally, I’ll pocket carry a J frame depending on the venue.
Forgetting printing for a moment, you’d be surprised how many touchy feely folks tend to put their hand on your hip… Should it head toward being an issue, I quickly tell them it’s my new insulin pump (or colostomy bag) if I can’t catch them inbound/before they put said hand on hip. That usually ends the potential awkward question and or conversation.

And perhaps nieces and nephews who still like to hug their aunts and uncles.Except for the $50/hour ' acquaintences'
