5.11/LA police gear button up shirts with snaps in place of buttons (buy them when they are on sale). Looser jeans/shorts work well also. A good solid belt for IWB. You can probably get all the above in an outfit or two for under $100.

Did you get their gun belt or just the regular belt?

The gun belt has a polymer liner in-between the two pieces of leather.

Polymer, just not nearly as sturdy as the nexbelt web.

    “Top grain leather gun belt”
    “Power-core center “

    Maybe they carry smaller guns.

I still can't seem to wear these. At what age does one make the switch to Hawaiian shirts?
It is a delicate balance. Here at work we have casual, well more casual Friday's. lot of people wear Hawaiian shirts from twenties on up. We cannot have weapons here but still. Some are pretty nice looking. I have some with little hot sauce bottles and chile peppers, others here have some with small, camouflaged AR's and other assorted goodies. You do not have to live in Florida driving a golf cart to own one :-)

    Behind enemy lines
Dressing around your pistol with the clothes you have is the perfect solution. Buy whatever you want. The point is special clothes aren't needed.
FWIW, I wear jeans or cargo pants with a t-shirt or/polo daily paired with a Hank's cc belt bought last year that can double as a rigging strap in an emergency and have zero problems concealing. Belt has a 100 year warranty. Before that belt (since 2010 or so) it was a heavy duty Dallas Cowboys custom leather belt from the leather guy at the Charlotte Hall farmers market that was alright but nit the greatest.

I've been carrying since 2017 like this without a need for special clothes. Don't have to dress up often as a plumber/bbq dude but when I do I pocket carry my LCPII.

My point is start with a good belt and see where you are from there. You may not need to spend money on clothes unnecessarily.

For those that have been carrying a while... do you wear an undershirt of some sort along with you normal shirt to keep the IWB carry setup from getting all sweaty?
I wear those under armour, nike, adidas etc workout shirts as under shirts, they are thinner materails than most under shirts and do not clump or stick to the over shirt. Also less heavy and dry quicker than most cotton and cotton blend undershirts and my holsters tend to slide against it better when putting a holster on or taking it off.

Those of you who wear a t shirt under your t shirt. Try not getting a strong hand thumb full of t shirt when you draw. Seen it.

Another reason I use those under armour type synthetic shirts they offer a glide like surface and less likely to get caught in your gripping movement

I normally wear jeans. Willing to pick up a couple extra pair. Of the major national brands (Levi, Lee, Wrangler) which brand and cut is the most appropriate for CC IWB 3:00?

Dude ! There's a whole 'nuther thread right now about jeans , and it's all over the map about which brands do\ don't fit people . So it all comes down to what fits your waist , hips , butt , and thighs . There's no universal answer .

What to do with my cell phone? I’ve been wearing my cell phone in a holster at 4 o’clock for years. Waiting on my permit but in getting ready I’m trying to figure what to do with the phone. Last couple of weeks it’s just going in the front pocket of my shorts without much of a problem. Today I’m wearing jeans and don’t particularly care for how the phone sits in the pocket. (Seems tight) For what it’s worth I’m an old retired guy that wears jeans in cooler months and shorts the rest of the time

I literally have been thinking about this. I think experimentation is in order but think the phone will end up at 9 with the iwb at 4 and mag holder at 7.
