So did everyone receive a letter from MD. Dept of Public Safety and Correctional Services…. Stating their "criminal record check was completed"

I got the letter today - below is a re-post of my original info

Submitted: 6/25 (DD214)
Accepted: 6/25
Returned to me 7/7 for shortages (total BS with Live scan)
Realized it had been returned 7/14 (I missed their 72 hr response window)
Re-submitted: 7/15
Accepted second time: 7/18
NCIS: 8/3

Everyone who gets printed gets a letter from CJIS with the results of their MD criminal history check . It does not include info the FBI might find from your print submission

Wasn't sure, makes sense that they notify, could not remember if my wife ever received that... Thanks for providing all the good info throughout the process..

Overall got through a lot faster than I thought it would. MSP did not contact any references.

your accepted date would possibly give you an approval late next week.

Same Accepted/NICS dates as me. I hopeful we'll hear something late this week but I think that would be the soonest.

No algorithm, some received approval 5-7 days after NICS and some two weeks after NICS. Hopefully sometime soon for us . I will update to keep everyone informed.

I think it has been determined that the NICS date doesn't really affect anything. The Accepted date seems to be the determinator in when to expect your approval.

NICS is at the least, a moral victory knowing your application is <2weeks from approval lol.

We had three approvals yesterday. It still appears that there are no approvals on the weekends, so this will likely be the last update until Monday evening.

Not my method, but there are some very nice folks here, who have compiled data. Acceptance date seems to be the key factor.

I only say that because before Bruen, they had to find a reason to issue, now they have to find a reason for denial. But I never thought I'd see it in my days and I'm 45.
