I carried a Para Ordnance 6.45 while living in FL and when we moved to MD in 2010 it went into the safe. Since we moved here before the 2013 law I never registered it with the MSP. Do I need to register if I want to carry this in MD now?

    Thanks

Because you moved here before 2013, you don't have to register anything you brought with you.

And no one has to register a specific gun for their W&C permit. You can carry a different gun every day of the month if you like!

Yes - for some reason that is an urban legend that has been passed around. My neighbor seems to think the CCW holders have to tell MSP what they carry and provide a spent case. Not sure where all this came from.

MSP did ask me during my interview if I had a carry gun already, when I answered yes they asked specifically what it was. Not that it should matter one bit? Or the fact that I have about 8 carry guns but only told them details of the 1 during the interview? It's strange but part of their (maybe old) interview process.
