I placed an order with Midway about 5 hours before I read this story in the news. Fantastic. So I guess my HK magazines will be siezed and destroyed instead of being delivered Thursday by UPS?

This went from the Ghost Gun company getting cancelled to “all companies that deal in parts and such” getting cancelled. I think this is BGOS paranoid hysteria, based on one company so far, getting a specific letter based on the evil name of their company alone. Of course, us 2A folks would never blow something like this out of proportion without having all the facts. I’ll report back after Thursday.

F…UPS. Use USPS snail mail. C

That’s a no-go for too many of us and me in particular - Precious Little gets through Greensboro Regional Sorting (choke!) Facility without MS-13 having first dibs on it … Global Ordnance actually REQUESTED I add a “NO USPS” note to any orders after the second to last order of forty AR mags “disappeared” in the now infamous “Greensboro Triangle.”

Maybe this is the time to start pushing congress to deal with this cancel culture shit. If companies are going to start supporting a political ideology and disinfrancising businesses that they don't agree with, then they should be considered a political lobby and regulated as such.

Members from the Senate sent letter to all shippers (truck and rail) back on May 19, 2022 regarding shipping firearm parts, etc.

That would be a double edge sword think Cakes for Gays. There just needs to be company to step in to fill the void.

Doesn't the government already prevent catholic schools from not including abortion coverage in their medical plans? Isn't this the same kind of thing, but worse?

But doesn't govt subsidize part of health insurance. I am of the mindset you let the market make the correction to UPS not govt.

I got a delivery from Brownell’s today, but it came via FedEx (I’ve never gotten anything from Brownell’s that didn’t ship FedEx). I got my shipping confirmation email from Midway USA / UPS a little while ago, still slated for delivery on Thursday the 7th. We shall see.

First the anti gun pols go after financing, cut off lines of credit and the ability to accept payment via traditional methods in the 2A community by pressuring big banks. Now they pivot and go after another weak link: logistics. It's clever in that they take something that's rare but easy for John Q public to understand and use it to put pressure on freight carriers. It's not enough that the cost to ship a HG is probably triple that over "normal" goods. Now the gun control crowd is pushing to ban or elevate the cost to ship firearm goods to the point that it's crippling economically.
