I just applied for my CCW via the MDSP portal. I need to go tomorrow to livescan $76.00 to get PCN #. Then I can submit application. My reason , was 2nd Amendment for personal protection of myself and Family.I would like to think the SCOTUS ruling will be followed in Maryland Law. Brian Frosh knew all along it was a Scam to invoke GASR for CCW.
This has been a long road and certainly worth the Wait...God Bless our Supreme Court and Constitution!!!

It's incredible how expensive this process is when you add up the application fee, fingerprints, training requirement. Good argument to be made that these fees are requirements are similar to poll taxes back in the day. Discriminatory against lower income residents for sure.

Where is everyone going to the mandatory 16 hour training?
I did mine at FreeState a few weeks ago, gambling that the decision would go this way. I wanted to get it done before the hordes suddenly needed to get their training done. Glad the gamble paid off and I didn't waste my money.

Josh P. was the instructor and he did an amazing job of keeping it interesting. I have done a lot of these courses in various states over the years and this was, by far, the best one! Covered the required content with plenty of humor and down to earth observations.

I got a hotel nearby so I didn't have to drive back to Brunswick after the first day. Hotels 3 min. away.

If your west of Baltimore, join the littlestown pa range for 75 a year, and they have been doing the classes for 50 bucks. So yes it costs you 125 but you have a range to go shooting as a bonus.
