The candidate most interesting to me is Fernando Berra III. If you believe him, he's a hard-core Constitutionalist.

All politics is local. We've seen how Socialists have infiltrated our lowest (local) politics with corrupt DA's and are destroying everything. County Exec is critical.

I have some very political savvy friends that say Jessica H. is the real deal , i sat down with them and spoke to them about it. They have signs on their business property.
They tell me Kipke, Chishom , and Cox are thinking she has what it takes. I have not made my mind up yet so i am listening to anything that catches my attention

It seems to me that Herb McMillen is in it because he thinks he can do a good job for the County.
Jessica Haire is in it for Jessica Haire. I'm totally unimpressed by her anonymous attacks on McMillen.

Berra's interesting but unknown. He's not going anywhere.

Jessica seems solid on the surface, but it's what her underlying ambitions are that worry me - she's clearly trying to make a name for herself and County Exec is just a stepping stone. With that said, she'd be a lot better than Pittman.

Haire, IMO, is fallback material, but she's a me-first brat.

There will be a candidate 'job fair' for all county candidates, local, state, or federal, on 6/20 at Earleigh Heights FD, 7-9PM.

I just watched Berra’s video. I seems like an intelligent guy. He would do a better job than Pittman (but so would a Trunk Monkey). He’s definitely not a politician which means unless he probably wont be able to raise enough money.

Oh yea. This will make the AACO socialist party rise to the occasion…

If she's really good, who cares if she has future ambition and is using it as a stepping stone? Doesn't that imply that she'll try to do a good job in order to move up?

Herb McMillan is a douchbag of the highest proportions. He told everyone to piss off who ever asked him for help. He is only in it for himself. The only reason he didnt run for re-election was because his polling said he was going to lose. The dem's didnt like him winning in Annapolis and getting better numbers than Busch. Then he told everyone to F off on the way out the door. He doesn't work well with others at all. He will not do a damn thing for 2A in AACo. I do not like Herb on a personal or political level.

Jessica Haire is only in this because her husband got her the county council job. But she fits the bill for a politician. Yes, she is in it only for herself, and she has her eye's set on the Governorship. The Haire's do not like Hogan at all. They hate him. She is willing to do what it takes to win. She is willing to help people. But, yes, she will only pursue things that polling tells her is good. I have no doubt polling says 2A is not something to fight for in AACo. Jessica, and as an extension Dirk, are both really nice people. But, they are political people.

John Grasso is an oddball. Yes he will help anyone who asks him. He has his opinions and will die on any of the hills of his opinion; ala the rain tax. He can self finance and isnt afraid to throw his money around in a race. He has wanted AACE for a long time. Schuh pushed him out because Schuh had more money than him and more political power. John is a really nice guy, but can be a dick about stuff. He is as Glen Burnie as you can get and I like him because he wears it on his shirt without remorse.

Fernando Berra III, I have no idea who he is, but god bless him. I hope he wins. Of all of the above, he seems to be in it for the right reasons. But those of his cloth never win. Id vote for him.

Chris Jahn is a member of the site I believe. But nobody mentioned him above.

Haire voted with the dems to censure Trump. When asked why she did this her reply was that if she didn't vote to do this the dems would use it against her. Makes me wonder what else she would do if it was politically expedient.

Then they won't achieve their higher aspirations, if the voters are paying attention.

Her name sounds familiar. Did she run before?

Any word on Everett Sesker who’s running for sheriff ? I went to South River with him and it looks like he worked in PG county LE before coming home to push his views (learned there).?

Grasso has baggage from past years that will surface and probably torpedo his run.
I don't see Berra doing well as AA has too many wishy washy republicans these days and are afraid of anyone who speaks their mind.

That is correct, it made no difference since it was just a resolution of censure but the fact that she would cave on her principles to "to get along with other council members" bothers me. What else would she cave on? She does claim to be a strong 2A supporter and she showed up at one of our gun club meetings and spoke to us. I'm still undecided about her.

Nothing really substantial just that she claimed to be a strong 2A supporter and is friends with Nick Kipke's wife who works for the NRA. Kipke is a delegate to the GA from Pasadena.
