What is the over/under for heat related illnesses involving medics?
College students getting hammered in 95f heat with high humidity and direct sunlight. What could possibly go wrong?
Lol. I went to Preakness once in my wild days. I was told I had fun.

Good question, i think my old work did private standby there last year. Just three minutes from the medical tent there to Sinai ER. You almost are better pushing the cart than loading it.

Lol. Ceremonial. That’s an M14. I know you know.
I'd like to be able to buy a couple...just for ceremonial purposes. ;) It irks me that for government employees in dress uniform (even the police, who I thought we were supposed to be defunding and demilitarizing...for the children), it is a revered symbol of time honored tradition from eras long gone. My M1A...(which doesn't have the giggle switch or even the murder-knife-hook-up-lug), is a full fledged banned "assault weapon" just waiting to pounce on the next innocent yutes that cross its path.

In fairness though...as much as I love and respect the platform, it is probably traveling a little light for that neighborhood anyway :innocent0

When you roll in those circles, go multiparallel or go home. M134D in a Dillon Aero Tahoe, 6.6 dirtymax conversion.

A rifle with a box mag can't hold off the hordes trying to tear you from your portacrapper.

I was pleasantly shocked this year at how tame it seemed. I’m about six blocks north of the track, and we usually see the drunk walkers wandering the hood lost and looking for their cars. This year we saw two, which is lower than normal.

They could all be doing the kickin ckicken in the infield from the heat for all I know. The noise this year however….. I was at AGC this morning and it wasn’t as loud on the line. Baltimore just gave the middle finger to residents on noise for this one. Caveat empor

We turned it on at the main race during son’s graduation party. The winning Jockey raced in a few earlier races and did well. I bet he learned the track then. My good friend is a local Jockey. Horse scratched one race but took 3rd in the only race today. He used to get 3-5 on Preakness
