I have ordered from Mountain City Supply in Colorado a couple of times. They ship to MoCo, have no order limits and is cheaper than going to BassPro in Arundel Mills even with shipping. It usually takes them a couple of weeks to ship but I was in no hurry. Contacted their customer service on my first order and got a response within the day.

Wow. I hadn’t shot in a while. Couldn’t believe when PG Trap charged $11 per box today. Used to be like $6. Hard to believe even online prices are like $9+.

A friend told me that even at this price they place a 2 box limit on purchases.

    Newbie. :D

I remember buying Winchester AA loads for $40 a flat ($4 per box) when buying a number of flats at a time. And then selling the hulls for 5 cents each ($1.25 per box).

Likewise ammoseek. Certain days are better than others so I would watch how the prices act for a few days. I know for a while I consistently saw Fiocchi #7.5s at the lowest.

Found some Federal 12 and 20 ga at Wally's today.
    $32/case plus tax. :shocking:
The AAs I got a while back seem like a real bargain now for $8/box.

If “a case” of shotshells used to be 20 boxes and “a flat” consists of ten boxes, are you referring to “the packs” of 4 boxes, for $32?

if so $8/box is about the best price I’ve seen or heard of in quite awhile!

yes the 100 round pack - we call 'em cases cuz nobody can afford a real case anymore, flats may soon be out of budget too...
I still have a case or two of Federal when it was $4/box. Ahhh.. the good ole days as Dad used to say.

$32 per 100 round pack is still below what I pay online. I totally would have bought what I could of that ammo.

Ditto this, last time I hit Walmart in LaPlata (two weeks ago I think) they had .22 (.06 a round) and 12GA target loads (Federal 100 round packs...which were $32 ea).....but I think I had stopped by there something like 4 times in the past 4 months before I finally ran into some.

I have never seen a true case of target shotgun shells. Always flats.

And that goes back to the early 90s
