I guess they don't have a requirement for issuing carry permits in a certain amount of time.

Latest info is 90 days for ccw approval.

Regular registrations are running 60 days.

All on purpose.

Call them today, they said it was send on 2/15/22 by email so I check back on that day nope don't see it ask to resend got it now (so I lost a month out my two years) on the MPD e-Commerce Portal still saying "Processed"


So to me that 88 days to them 65 days

Got email permit mailed 3/21.
I think I got lucky.

I submitted my renewal on 6/26. I checked the website today and the status is showing it as processed on 6/28. Probably just wishful thinking but maybe completing the process will be quicker now that the NY State COTUS decision came out.

Did they happen to say what the expiration date of your new permit would be?: Two years from the date of issue of your renewal permit or two years from the actual date of expiration of your current one?
