Another thanks here for Norton, DD, & Spot. Very well organized. What a fantastic day. Finally was able to put some rounds through the 6.8. Only bad part was sitting next to the Barrett and having my stomach turned upside down every time by the concusion of the blowback.

SORRY!!!
I didn't realize that the blast wave from that bad boy was so rough. I walked away from that table grinning and I still am a little...
Hey Boatbod, there was a guy at the range I met with a name that sounded just like yours. I think he said his name was Boatbawd, or Boatbot or something.I'd like to add my thanks to Spot, Norton and DD for organizing today's get together. It's the first time I've been to one of these events - actually the first time I've been to a real range - so its safe to say I have an absolute blast!
See you all at the next event!
Graham
Sounds like I missed a really good time today.
50BMG is fun, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM. Punch holes in steel, next time i'll bring some 1 inch plates and maybe an I-beam, and I will sight it in better, it's set for 600 yards. Was wondering if it's possible to get that plate with the holes in it though. No one ever gets used to the 50 firing, though as a former cannon cocker 155mm goes boom even better, and an M1A tank wow! I still have about 100 rounds, it wasn't shot that much today, maybe 31 rounds.
