That's interesting. If the barrell that I have states that it is suitable for the .223 round but it's not able to chamber correctly how would one know without sending a round through it that it will not be safe? Is there a trick?

That's a good way to end up with face full of metal and missing an eye or 2 and a few less fingers. You should at least tie it to an old tire and run a long string to the trigger and fire the first 10 rounds that way.

Thanks for all that info zzzz man, but he said it's an M4 and he fat fingered it....but then it's a 22.....I'm confused......but that happens alot. Maybe it's an M6?
