I had a safety detent pin that was out of spec and too pointy. It pissed me off to no end. Every time I'd go from fire to safe, safe to fire, then back again I'd just get irrationally angry. It started to affect my marriage. I was having problems at work. Things were going downhill in my life until I finally realized what the problem was and replaced the pin.

Never use DPMS parts.
