That’s pretty much every other day for the past 2 weeks. Water and tp are there in the morning and gone in the afternoon. Fresh food departments run out on a daily basis (not sure why as we have a max of 3 day shelf life). Place has been nuts

That's exactly what one of the associates said. He told me that he watched a pallet of hand soap sell out in 2 hours.

I saw a really old man at the local grocery store yesterday arguing with a stock boy about toilet paper. The stock boy said "We don't have any toilet paper, no one does. Even Costco is out of it." The old guy said "This is King Sooper, not Costco for Christ sake!" The stock boy said "I know that, I work here. But toilet paper is sold out everywhere at every store." The old guy said "Well what am I supposed to do when I have to take a sh!t?" and the stock guy replied "I don't know what to tell you sir. I can't give you any toilet paper because there is none in the store." I moved out of hearing range after that but the old man definitely wasn't taking no for an answer.

Jeez, the wife stopped by Sams club to grab a few steaks for dinner tomorrow night. She said you would think the world is about to end with all of the sh!t folks are buying up. Glad I'm a prepper and don't need to interact with these unprepared idiots!!! Fortunately the wife is starting to get it now!!!

I saw a guy at Giant last night buying 4 carts full of water and all of the hand sanitizer they had on the shelf. People are going nuts.

Remember Costco and Sam's originated to supply small business'. I know a Day Care provider that shops there and buys a month of supplies for her business during normal times. Such a business should be picking up all the products they can. The guy with the flour may be buying for his bakery and a cart full is a weeks supply.

You're probably correct. I usually go early (7-10) when they let the business member in ahead of the general public and you do see a lot of daycare and C store owners piled up with loads of stuff.

Yesterday they were out of spam, rice, water, paper towels, and toilet paper.

It's not small business, it hoarders and profiteers. Was just in Walmart and saw some woman with a bad bleach job and acrylic nails buying all (a dozen +) 3 packs of the clorox wipe canisters, and multiple brands of toilet paper (from the cheap stuff through charmin.) She wasn't going to clean nothing but the shelves, since she didn't bag a single thing..

It's probably already listed as buy it now on amazon at a 2x mark up. Meanwhile there has been a stomach bug going through the schools here and folks who need that stufd.

Traffic has been light since yesterday. Around 7am this morning, I was doing 55 mph on the Wilson bridge instead of 10mph.

Last night. The Costco at pentagon city was very crowded . People were acting like idiots, panic buying all the essentials.
