Range day with DA and Mrs. DA today. Here are a couple of the toys that we brought. Compensated G17 is DA's (and posted with permission).

It was a great day! Thanks for allowing us to come out to the range with you.

Lol, I have unneutered as well. The 10-rounders came with the gun (the G17 with front serrations) that was purchased (used) from my LGS. The MDS badge in the pic was a gift from DA.

What did you think of the C in comparison?

We actually took video to verify what we thought we were experiencing, which was substantially less muzzle rise when comparing both G17s. It felt as quick to keep on target as my Walther PPQ in 22LR, but with greater sound report of course. DA might be able to follow-up with an image of flames shooting from the top of the 17C.

again, don't think that glock and porn are words that belong together, but what the heck

glock 17 gen 4 (mos, but wanted the red dot lower so had an aftermarket slide milled), zeroed in armory slide (slide cuts and milled for optic), vortex viper red dot.

I’m very familiar with them, I have a couple myself. I’ve read that Glock reports 33% less muzzle rise with the C models.

When was there a Gen4 with front serrations? The rollmarks are moved out of the way too, so not milled and re-coated after?

    edit: nevermind, found it: https://eu.glock.com/en/technology/front-serrations
special run at the bottom of the page.

Here's my Gen5 so we can get back to pictures

For a few years i collected various of the rarer Glocks and finally scored a couple NIB blue ones. These days you can find them no problem but back then it was hard to score one! Against a backdrop of the interesting ammo they shoot.

I like the C variant. I've had my eyes peeled for a G22C Gen3 or Gen 4 for a while now and I'd prefer in NIB or if I can't get it that way, I'd only be willing to pick it up from somebody that I know didn't abuse the crap out of it.

For me the 17C feels like it has much less muzzle rise and it feels like it flatter shooting.

Video. Right at about 2 seconds you can see the blast come up though the slide.

Both readily available on GunBroker. The Gen4 22C was near impossible to find for years, all of a sudden a few months ago the market was flooded with a prefix that none of us ever heard about. The Gen4 22Cs are “rebuilt” but no indication that they were ever shot.

Just this past week I was able to obtain 2 rare Glocks, a Gen3 23C RTF2 with gills and Gen4 23C. Now I’m down to 4 left.

Ok, now I have to add another to the list. I need a G23C. Dick....

Two, maybe 3 years ago, I didn't have any Glocks. I respected the heck out of them, but they just didn't feel right in my hand. For some reason, the Gen5's do......so this is my doublestack 9mm family
