Ever consider the MGA getting a Democrat Governor may stir their pot, per post #1940? I guess this is just too easy for me, as I'm not a single issue voter and Hogan is an easier vote for me for plenty other reasons vs a Democrat.

I’m of a similar mind, but do wonder if/when the MGA makes Hogan a complete eunuch what is left as an option but not voting. MD politics really is slimy.

He is governor of a state that ranks in the bottom 5 of freedom for its citizens. The argument that someone could be worse is invalid.

Smigiel commented today Hogan is already cooked, as in gone.

I look what happened in Virginia as one clue. I look at Trump's favorable rating to Maryland voters as another. The Dems this time out really get to choose their candidate. More Dems will vote next election, and if the minority voters get out, put a fork in it.

It's been a long time since junior high for me, and that kind of taunt did not impress me then, either.

Hogan took over the state that ranked 46th out of 50 in freedom https://www.freedominthe50states.org/overall/maryland and he kept it there. Whoopee. I'm not impressed by that, either.

In Maryland nothing really is something. I don't like the fact , but it is .

I * used * to be an apologist for Hogan, and thr GOP . But no more . Vote like Democrats, get treated like Democrats.
An Opposition Party that refuses to actually oppose is not just useless , but actively Bad .

Maryland is now de facto non partisan . Party affiliation is meaningless, each politician needs to be judged personally for their own actions/ votes .

But for those who can not in conscience vote for either a likely Dem , or a turncoat Repb , don't stay home, or write in your father of Mickey Mouse . Vote for the only candidate who is actually pro 2A

The Dems will do what they want, when they want to do it. What's Hogan got to do with any of this? Until there are a few more R's in the MGA, you can forget about Hogan helping anyone with a 2A agenda.

Patriot Picket Rally in Annapolis - 14 Apr

Me, my wife and our kids attended the Patriot Picket Rally in Annapolis today to defend the 2nd Amendment rights of Marylanders and specifically to demand that Governor Hogan Veto HB-1302, the Red Flag Bill which allows the State of Maryland the ability to confiscate the firearms of law abiding citizens without due process and creates a separate class of citizens out of those who exercise their Constitutional right to own firearms. Former Delegate Michael Smigiel is seen here giving an inspiring speech on what we need to do to take the fight to those who would strip us of our Liberties!

I found it interesting that in the letter I got yesterday from my state Senator yesterday bragging about all they did this past session, no mention of HB1302. Bump stock bans, yes. But nothing about a Red Flag bill.

Also, nothing in the Calvert County newspaper as well.
