Have you heard back from him yet? I haven't.

I also just received an email from Deb Rey about some school security bill. I replied back that I wanted to be removed from her mailing list because of her vote on HB1302. I haven't heard back from her either.

Don't know if I'll be going to the next town hall or not either.

heres what steve sent me, I posted it somewhere and its about both bills, deb rey gave me her cell number and what I took as a snarky, could just be my take, call me if you want an explainationemail so I have called and left my name and number and....crickets.

and as soon as the weather gets better we need to do that shooting we have been talking about!

    thanks for the support!
The delegates appear to have realized the error of their ways and are begging us to 'fix' the bill they voted for. I had a conversation with the Chairman of our Judicial Proceedings committee and even he thinks the bill is horrible. And he would outlaw guns.
I know who the delegates face in the general election, and those choices are far worse.
The other day we had some consultants telling us to support the Gov on the bump stock ban, because it'll be popular in our senate districts...all the while I was thinking I'd be better off in a TV commercial using one.

Am I reading that correctly? He’s asserting that Zirkin thinks the bill is bad?!

if that's whos in charge of the senate judiciary then yes, I cant keep track of all the players. but that's the email my senator sent me so I can only assume he knows what hes talking about

I invited him down to shoot a bumpstock or just to shoot but I haven't heard back from him yet, lol, I hope he comes.

Zirkin is the chair of Senate Judicial Proceedings committee.

Guess we’ll see how this shakes out.

Then, I'll chalk his lack of response to me up to, hopefully, being buried under emails all saying the same basic thing.

I'll chalk Rey's lack of reply to her not wanting to correspond with another pissed off constituent.

Let me know what works for you when the weather turns some kind of decent. I'm in the downhill slide for school right now and my free time is going to be at an all time low until after the 16th of May. I could probably slide a day in here and there though. Could be a good stress buster.

just because I am just a good ole boy from down in the woods with no political type education , why would the head of the senate judicial proceedings committee push a bill he doesn't like and thinks is bad?

maybe I am just stupid or something.

I got the regular Kathy Szeliga email she sends out. Funny how there was NO mention of this Bill or her reason(s) for voting yea on the Bill. Kinda like she wants us to believe nothing ever happened. I just want her to take ownership of her vote and to explain her reason(s). Hiding is not the answer and every day that goes by that she doesn't take ownership of her vote, she losing more respect.

This was Kathy Szeliga’s Waterloo. As it was for many other Delegates.
