glock 31 rounders plus the taylor freelance extensions get you (me) to 40/41 rounds!! we don't need no stinkin' reloads.

for those that really want to have fun with their PCC's, Peacemaker has monthly supersteel / falling steel matches where you can run around and hose down steel. next one is aug 26 and anyone new to competitive shooting (or experienced) is welcome to join me. you can also of course shoot handguns, and shottie's also. also, uspsa now has a PCC division so look for a uspsa match near you (uspsa website, or practiscore.com).

Is the PCC in the "open" or "production" class?:

"General match, with the following divisions:
Open, Limited, Production, Single Stack, Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Open Shotgun"

Since I've started using the Colt 6450 I realized that my cleaning kits are all 5.56, I ordered the bore brushs, swabs, boresnake, etc and coming Monday, but I don't see the equivalent of the bore brush or final swab (the double diameter ones used on the 5.56). What do you guys use? This sucker is filthy!

I use foam and jags. That's it.

which match venue are you looking at? that one doesn't seem to have a PCC division, a little weird since they have two shotgun divisions.

PCC is in the PCC class in USPSA. Steel Challenge has PCCO (optics) and PCCI (irons). There are almost no limitations on PCC. Slap a laser and light on it, it's legal. Magazines? Run a drum if you want. The only real limit is how much you can physically pick up and still be able to shoot it.

In USPSA, at the moment, there's no divisions within the PCC (it's a brand new class, just introduced last June.) Shoot whatever you want.

So far, all I have experience with are ASC mags(32 round) and Brownells' mags (32 round). I stopped at the range yesterday after work and dumped three mags, rapid fire, without a hangup. All three mags were ASCs.
have some ASC magazines in my can and those have never had an issue.

Just my opinion, but I think the PCC market has more or less moved on from Colt mags to Glock mags. When QC10 releases their MP5 mag lower, I think those might go back into vogue, too.

No disagreement that the trend is away from the colt mags but there are drawbacks to this. The only decent mag blocks seem to be colt versions, or at least the only ones that have a working BHO. It sure is nice to only have to SBR one lower and change out the caliber.

In the end, I will probably end up braking down and buying a dedicated glock lower, but there are a bunch of other things higher on the list.

This is a pretty reasonable point, and for individuals who are tight on cash, I see the appeal. Makes me wish the VMH unmodified Uzi mag adapter was still in production... it wasn't perfect, but if nothing else, it was VERY reliable because those magazines were just rock solid.

If you want to shoot PCC at a Peacemaker Steel Challenge match just signup for any division and then when you come to register at the match change your division to PCCO or PCCI. However there are no more SC matches on the schedule for 2017. You can shoot PCC in the Peacemaker Super Steel matches but bring lots of ammo and mags (I generally run 3 30+ round mags). Matches have movement but all targets are steel, sometimes as many as 50 per stage. Also monthly Steel Challenge matches at Quantico MCB and Ann Arundel Fish and Game.

super steel is most definitely NOT limited to handguns and shotguns at peacemaker; PCC's are absolutely invited, and they're also invited during 2 and 3 gun matches there for the short range stages. i know as i have shot them in those matches and/or shot with others using them. if you don't see a PCC option, just sign up for whatever division and as Photo mentioned above, they will change it at match time. i'm signed up for supersteel am and pm on aug 26 and in one of the slots i will be using my PCC.

if you or anyone else here wants to do that match and wants a little mentoring or handholding for their first match, i'm happy to do so.

Sorry, meant to mention I picked up 3 unopened Magpul 9mm magazine assists (3 per package) in (I think) desert tan. If you still want to try this PM me your address, unless you're near Carroll County and we can do a quick meet up and I can hand them off. Otherwise I'll find a small box and ship 'em to you.

They were $3 per package, so it's on me...
