    Basically 9mm. More capacity, less wear on the gun, easier recoil, cheaper, similar ballistic performance. However, a .40 let's you shoot 40, 357 sig, and 9mm with just barrel swaps....so it's got that going for it.

    So I can swap out my 40S&W Shield barrel with a 9mm Shield barrel and use the mags from the 9 ?

    Forty has totally more knock-down power. It also 'clears rooms' all by itself.


    Make certain to tape extra AR50 plates to your back in case you have to take multiple .308 hits in the back.
