Five in the same hole @ 25 yards? That's some nice shooting! What type of ammo were you using?

Nice shooting, l am trying to fine one to buy. Checked several LGS and no one has one and no idea how long the wait would be. So it looks like Gun Broker is my only hope to get one.

Gun Broker is where I ended up getting one a couple of month ago. A shop that I have been doing business with for a while - "The Attic" is their name. That gun, even without the Delta Point is laser accurate. With the Delta Point, it's almost like cheating. Fantastic trigger.

Which James Bond...annnnd which movie? For instance, new casino Royale had bond with a p99as... but later bond flicks gave him back the ppk the later years bond had. Early bond had a Beretta 418 until Dr no. I've had a p99as for a while now and it's been reliable and accurate. Here's me with more hair shooting at one of the old MDS frostbite shoots.

Since you used Best as an adjective, PPK/s . Easier to find than PPK, better in the hand, looks the same while being held or fired .

I will get it in order to get it.

Let us know when you do and I'm sure someone can point you towards a Walther PPK/S. I would personally recommend something a bit more user-friendly and easier to shoot than a Walther PPK/S if you don't have much experience with handguns, though. They look cool but I've yet to see anybody shoot one with the kind of laser-beam, surgical-type accuracy that James Bond does.

Getting back to the OP's PPQ Match. Considering that group was shot with inexpensive, aluminum-cased Freedom 9mm, it is impressive. I only have one gun that shoots that stuff well - a CZ 75 Compact PCR - but it won't one-hole a five-shot group at 25 yards, like that! I look forward to seeing what it does with other brands of ammo.

But circa '86 was when production in France ended, or at least was no longer imported into US. Production after that was done in US, first by various subcontractors for Interarms, then by S&W.
