For my 45th birthday, I decided to get a 45. I've always had an affection for SAA, so I decided on the Taylor Smoke Wagon Deluxe, a tuned Uberti. I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but oh how good it feels in the hand.

    Where they send me.
Nice! They seem to be very nice revolvers.

I messed up getting a .45 for my 45th. From here only a 50 is left :-) Then the govies say nothing bigger so not sure what I'll do.

Very Nice replica of a single action army, thats the gun that won the west. Ive not anything bad about Uberti and that looks like a beautiful piece. Something like this is on my shortlist... very very nice :D

That's one reason why I went ahead and bit the bullet on this one. I had intended on getting one a long time ago, but politics had me loading up on semi-autos.

Single action revolvers are really a lot of fun. Standard pressure 45 Colt loads are plenty enough for hunting or defense, the only downside is the cost of ammo.
Have fun, you've got a nice revolver.

    I guess I screwed up.

For my 40th, my wife gave me a Colt Custom Shop tuned Python in .357.

    Should I give it back?
