Annapolis Stun Gun Prohibition Challenged

Hulbert v. Pantelides, filed Thursday in federal district court, claims that Annapolis’s ban on stun guns violates the Second Amendment; I’m pleased to say that I’ll be consulting a bit on this litigation. It wasnt that many years ago that MD had a bill calling for registration of stun guns and a stun gun qualification.

I'd be prepared to not comprehend if i were you.

Thanks for this info dblas, good stuff; the trend has been to repeal these ignorant laws. Lots of info from Taser, they are actively trying to get the few states/localities to reverse these no Electronic Control Device laws.

A group of us successfully contributed to having a similar law repealed in AACO; thanks to several members on this form for supporting that effort.

There was another group working on Harford Co. I lost track, not sure if they were successful. Update appreciated anyone.

Do you have a source about Taser doing that. I called Taser prior to filing this suit and they made no mention of any legislative action on their behalf.
