if you only get one, which of the two would you prefer to get?
and why?
thanks.
and why?
thanks.
what ended up being your total cost to get the Fl ccw permit?
UT requires a specific course. FL accepts Hunter Safety or an NRA basic pistol course.
FL does not recognize non resident permits so if you intend to carry in FL, you must have a FL permit.
The FL permit is good for 7 years. UT is 5. do the math to amortize costs.
Fingerprints for FL must be done at a LE agency. UT has no such requirement
Decisions, decisions
This pretty much sums it up assuming the OP is a MD resident. National reciprocity, if passed, would probably steer a lot of no permit people towards NH's permit (no training,100 bucks, mail).

That's the site I was trying to find.
Delaware is important because it's on my way to my family on the eastern shore. Guess I need to get two.
Why would you not be able to open carry in your vehicle while traveling through Delaware? Seems to me you could do so without a permit except in the town of Dover. I don't think you need FOPA for Delaware, however IANAL and I already have permits that work in DE.not necessarily. you could travel through DE under FOPA protection. But either UT or FL will get you DE.
