Well the guy who did my interview was mistaken. Got my answer last week.

That was your trick question, they were hoping to see you get pizzed. Concerned look, muscles tensing, skin flushing, veins growing, pencil in your hand snapping in two, smacking your ozark trail koozie off the table, you know the usual response to statements that make no good sense and put there only to command a response. But I could be wrong.

mine was almost 70 days on the nose, my restrictions are "Valid only while conducting business/ transporting business firearms as a Certified Firearms Instructor. (MD ONLY) Not Valid where Firearms are prohibited by law."

what do your read, I did call them about it, and made the case of how could I prove that I was conducting business and I was told " it's not our place to nail law abiding citizens to the wall" and it's why "they have to call before arresting you"...

gave me warm fuzzies all over

Simple, just transport a "business firearm" on your hip, 24/7.

Wait. Experts here told us that MSP Licensed & Certified Instructors couldn't get permits... And even if they did they'd be so restricted (for the public's safety) that they would be worthless.

You mean to tell me a MSP licensed instructor, conducting business and participating in cash monetary transactions at remote ranges, during publically advertised classes, making deposits, and purchasing supplies and materials and transporting numerous regulated firearms can get a permit?

    Wow. That actually makes sense.

You must be talking about said Kremlin expert named Fred333 and his Bolshevik Muslim extremist cronies that have predictions of the end times every 4th word.

Imagine that, but you know what they say about forums... you have to beat down others to make you feel better. :innocent0 even when you try to spread the good word....

Keep spreading the Good News Cypher Punk, someone may eventually believe somewhat what we both try to say.... even for a minute second ... maybe two.

The above is not correct. There are instructions on your permit to call if it is expired only. There is nothing stopping you from being arrested if the officer feels that you are carrying outside your restrictions.

in that manner it would be upon the officer and then the court to prove that you indeed were not carrying while performing business activities. Which is why you keep a time stamped day planner and other items if you choose to carry while performing your business duties....

Quoted because this advice is sound enough to be read again.

The highlighted above should be enough, but it is always better to pad Q23 (G&S).

What I find vexing is that I submitted in early April. Did the interview in late May. And as of today, still have nothing.
