K31 will still make PPU ammo look good.
Most of the ones I have looked at had mirror bores. They were maintained very well.
I swear the same guys who made the bolts made surgical tools.
Sights are IMO easy to see for what they are.

I love my K31's (all 6 of them.) I say if you don't have one now, you have to get one while you still can. GP11 ammo use to be plentiful, but not so much any more. If you find the ammo grab as much as you can. It is match quality ammo.

Agreed, do not hesitate. K31's are very nice and accurate rifles.

Ammo is less of an issue for me because I load my own. K31's have a short throat so finding the right bullet with the right ogive and seating depth can be tedious, but worth it.

Absolutely love mine. Sweetest shooter you'll ever see. Took mine to a group shoot with friends and everyone who shot it vowed to buy one while they are still available. Mine has the slip of paper under the butt plate with the name of the guy it was issued to in Switzerland. Uber cool!!

I like mine, the G11 ammo is released by the Swiss gov in batches. Wait and it will be back.

Yes indeedy, git one of 'em while ya still can. I would advise findin' one that wasn't imported by a dumbass that put the import mark right on top.

As fer ammo, PPU makes it and Cabela's sells it.

Now's the time to act. Doesn't matter if it's a K31, K11 or M1911. I believe this is the last gasp for $300 Swiss straight pulls. After this they're going to head on a trajectory up in price. I've already seen it on Swiss 1889s. Try to find a nice one for less than $400-500 these days. That's where the rest of the Swiss straight pulls are headed.

Try Simpsons. Their "billboard" is only 1/16" high, and you pick your specific weapon. Customer Service will pull the one you're interested in and answer your questions.

Looks like their carbines are gone!

Grab a long rifle while you still can! They still have a few.

    I ain't seen a $300 Switzer in some time.

Every K31 I see anymore is north of $400.
